Responsibilities

  • Assist Business Development team to explore and market new business opportunities with new customers
  • Expand business opportunities beyond existing product types with existing customers
  • Secure orders for the company based on sales budget and factory capacity planning
  • Conduct price quotation & negotiation with customers
  • Lead, supervise and guide a team of sale and merchandisers to maintain and build up good rapport with customers
  • Co-ordinate closely with Product Development and Procurement team in sourcing for the right fabric mills or trim and accessories suppliers
  • Serve as a problem solver by bridge good relationship between buyers and production factories
  • Work very closely with merchandising team on samples development & management, orders follow up, product quality and delivery arrangement related issues
  • Verify on all buyers and suppliers related claims


Requirement

  • Degree or diploma holder in Sales, Merchandising, Fashion or related discipline from recognised institution
  • At least 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Strong knowledge & technical understanding of fabric construction and fabric & apparel product development
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with buyers, suppliers, and factories
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Creative, driven and high energy level.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese is an advantage
  • Short travelling in Asia/EU/USA countries is required
