Responsibilities
- Responsible for client servicing from initial points of contact to order execution
- Maintain and build a good relationship between buyers and production factories
- Make regular liaison with buyers on new development and updated order status
- Co-ordinate buyer samples requirement from design development to pre-production and bulk orders (Proto, Fit, Size Set, PPS, TOP & etc.)
- To study and understand clearly buyers; tech packs
- To prepare buyer order quotation sheet.
- To set up internal company ERP sales order sheet.
- According to the order quantity, sourcing the right fabrics, trims and accessories suppliers
- Supervise and co-ordinate with the Production Merchandiser or Production Controller in factory ensuring sufficient lead time for factory production
- To ensure buyer approval on-time in various stages of merchandising process
Requirement
- Certificate or diploma in Merchandising, Fashion or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of textile/garment merchandising or textile/garment manufacturing industry
- Minimum 5 years for Senior Merchandising position
- Good working attitude & interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated & ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills in spoken English & Chinese is an advantage
- Short travelling in Asia is required
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandiser
